STEAL THIS SIMPLE PRICING REQUEST TRICK

If you or your business has ever struggled with “should I put pricing on my website?”, this post is for you.

Some businesses are ok with publishing their pricing for all to see, and that’s fine.

Others try to force a prospect to Contact Sales before any idea of pricing is provided, and that’s fine too. It’s not right or wrong. Businesses have their own reasons for what they do. It can just cost you sales because that prospect may just move on.

If you are ok with sending your pricing but would like to at least capture the email address of the person requesting it (without the dreaded “Request a Quote” form, ugh), try this simple process:

  1. Set up an email address called “pricing@yourcompany.com”.
  2. Edit the address and set it to auto-respond with whatever pricing info you would like to provide. Budgetary info is fine if you can’t get specific. Just provide enough information so the prospect understands what you offer.
  3. Create a “Pricing Page” on your website that includes how to use the link.

Example:

“Thank you for your interest in our products. Although we don’t publish our pricing, we offer a way to instantly request it. Simply send an email to pricing@echoquote.io and you will automatically receive our pricing information.”

Go ahead, try it:  pricing@echoquote.io

Here’s what the actual link looks like:

mailto:pricing@echoquote.io?&subject=EchoQuote.io Pricing&body=Please send me your pricing information. Thanks!

Pricing information is valuable and this gives you an easy way to help your customers understand what you offer.

It’s all about providing Value First.
